L’Hotel Villa Rosa Antico è un’antica villa del 1500, costruita sulle alture, fra gli aranceti, alta a dominare le case e la costa, in un’atmosfera che ha conservato fedelmente l’autenticità dei luoghi legata al passato. Negli anni la villa è stata rivenduta fino all’ultimo acquirente, il quale l’ha donata a uno dei suoi figli, che l’ha ristrutturata creando così questo albergo immerso nel verde ricco d’atmosfera, dipinto di rosa; è di proprietà della famiglia Campa e da loro anche gestito, ha un’accoglienza calda e familiare. La Villa si presenta con la preziosa facciata interamante costruita in pietra leccese (in dialetto salentino leccisu), detta anche “pietra gentile”, una formazione rocciosa tipica della regione salentina nota per la sua plasmabilità e facilità di lavorazione. Anche all’interno la si trova riproposta sulle colonne, sugli archi e in alcuni oggetti di arredamento. Tutto questo sorge in uno splendido paesaggio che è Otranto, città più ad Oriente d’Italia.

The Hotel Villa Rosa Antico is a 16th-century villa standing on high ground among orange groves, looking down on both houses and coastline. Its setting provides an atmosphere that has faithfully preserved the authenticity of places still closely linked to the past. Over the years the villa has had several different owners but the last person to purchase it gave it as a gift to one of his sons who restored it and transformed it into a hotel. Surrounded by nature, full of atmosphere and painted pink, it is owned and run by the Campa family who gives a warm and friendly welcome to its guests. The rich façade of the Villa is built entirely in stone from the Lecce area (in Salento dialect known as leccisu), also called "kind stone", a typical kind of rock formation of the Salento region which is much appreciated for its malleability and for the fact it is easy to work. The same stone is also found in the interior, in the columns, the arches and in certain items of furnishing. All such beauty is set within the splendid landscape of Otranto, the most eastern city in Italy.

Das Hotel Villa Rosa Antico ist eine alte Villa aus dem Jahr 1500, erbaut auf einer Anhöhe inmitten von Orangenhainen; von hier aus überragt es die Häuser und das Meeresufer in einer Atmosphäre, in der die ursprüngliche Echtheit der Vergangenheit erhalten geblieben ist. Im Laufe der Jahre ist die Villa mehrmals verkauft worden, bis zum letzten Besitzer, der sie einem seiner Söhne geschenkt hat. Dieser hat sie renoviert und daraus dieses, im Grünen eingebettete, rosarote Hotel mit seiner bezaubernden Atmosphäre gemacht, das im Besitz der Familie Campa ist und von ihr in warmer und familiärer Gastfreundschaft geführt wird. Die wertvolle Fassade der Villa ist aus Stein aus Lecce gebaut (im hiesigen Dialekt: Leccisu); dieser Felsstein ist für die Region des Salento typisch und wird aufgrund seiner Formbarkeit und einfachen Verarbeitung auch "pietra gentile" genannt. Im Innern finden wir ihn auf den Säulen, den Bögen und einigen Einrichtungsgegenständen wieder. Das Ganze befindet sich in der herrlichen Landschaft von Otranto, der östlichsten Stadt Italiens.
